Although I have been a singer for over thirty years, my musical training began with the violin, studying privately for 10 years and performing with several youth and community orchestras, achieving positions of concerto concert soloist and concert master.

My first role in a musical was the Gypsy Violinist in "She Loves me" and from then on I was hooked on musical theater. I began studying voice and acting in college, graduating from UC Davis with a degree in dramatic art and getting additional training and experience performing east coast summer stock with the College Light Opera Company.

Since then I have continued to study classical voice with Jim Toland, Karen Anderson, and Jenny Matteuci and have worked with various professional and community theater and opera companies throughout the bay area, performing lead and supporting roles such as Cinderella, Into the Woods, Amalia, She Loves Me, Pamina, The Magic Flute, Despina, Cosi Fan Tutte, Gretel, Hansel and Gretel.

Dinner theater experience began with  Max's Opera Café, as well as Nicolino's Opera show, La Tosca, Pranzi, Arrivaderci's and many other restaurants throughout the Bay area.

Concert work includes performing as a soloist with the Morrison Theater chorus in the Bach Magnificat, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Poulenc's Gloria.  I have also been employed for over 14 years as a full and part time soloist with the Danville Church of Religious Science, and continue to perform for weddings and other church services throughout the bay area.

In more recent years, I have been developing my interest in music from the Great American Songbook, and have performed several solo cabaret/jazz shows at Society Cabaret, Angelica's Bistro, Zingari Jazz Lounge, private yacht clubs and benefit concerts featuring standards by Gershwin and his contemporaries.  I am currently working on a CD entitled Gershwin and Friends, due to be released soon!
